NVQ FUNDING & GRANTS

Welcome to our nvq funding and grants hub. Whether you’re an employer or a worker, find out what support is available for your training and qualifications.

Government funding is notoriously complex; your chances of securing funding for training and qualifications are decided by many factors such as your geographic location, the trade area you work in and whether you’ve received funding before.

Our job as a training provider is to make sense of funding rules, and then match the money to the intended recipients. In most cases, we’ll just need to ask you a couple of questions to know if you’re eligible for funding.

Thankfully, Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) grants are more straightforward. You can find out more about the CITB levy and grants scheme further down the page.

Who is eligible for NVQ funding and grants?

Find out if support is available for you or your team.

If you’re an experienced construction worker looking to gain an NVQ in your chosen trade, there’s a good chance we can access funding on your behalf (especially if this is your first qualification in your occupational area).

To gain your NVQ through onsite assessment, you must have a minimum of two to three years’ experience in your trade.

Government funding can benefit construction companies by helping them gain NVQs and CSCS cards for their employees and sub-contractors.

NVQ funding is usually available to SMEs with fewer than 250 employees.

Additionally, CITB-registered firms can access short qualification grants of at least £600 for every NVQ achieved by members of their workforce. See our CITB grants FAQ blog post to find out more.

What if you’re not eligible for NVQ funding?

THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS AVAILABLE.

If you’re not eligible for government funding, you or your employer may need to finance the qualification yourselves. Please get in touch with us to discuss our prices and payment terms.
