Passive fire protection in the North West of England has received a welcome boost following the launch of a new partnership in the sector. DMR Training & Consultancy Ltd and JM Passive Fire Protection Ltd have announced plans for a collaboration to expand the provision of passive fire protection training and assessment in the region.

Five years after completing his joinery apprenticeship with us, Josh Marshall is back at DMR as our new administrator and training consultant. Naturally, we wanted to find out what he’s been doing for the last few years, so we made him a brew and plied him with questions.

Ryan has worked with DMR for several years now, and he’s an indispensable part of our training and assessment team. He covers a number of occupational areas, including roofing, cladding and construction supervision. This month, Ryan added another string to his bow by gaining his Internal Quality Assurance qualification.

Last time we spoke to Sean, he had just started his NVQ Level 2 in Fitted Interiors (along with three of his colleagues). This month we caught up with him again to find out how he got on with his qualification.

NVQs done your way is partly inspired by the way we try to adapt every qualification to the needs of each individual learner. Today we’d like to give an example of what we meant by that.
