Say Hello to our new logo

We’re Rebranding – Here’s Why

If you’re a regular visitor to dmr-training.co.uk, you may have noticed that change is afoot. We recently updated the website with a new logo, colour scheme, tagline and images – all of which form part of a rebranding of DMR Training.

Over the last 12 months, we’ve consolidated our position as NVQ assessment specialists in the construction industry while expanding our range of low carbon qualifications in the insulation and solar sectors. We see our long-term future as willing participants in the drive to Net Zero and a greener planet. And we strive to embody that vision through the services and products we offer, the ways we engage with local communities, and how we treat the environment.

By rebranding, we hope to capture some of those values in our visual identity.

Our New Logo

Hello! We love it already. But what do you think?

We’ve seen a lot of changes since 2015 but we didn’t want to abandon our old logo completely. The border which wraps around DMR in the new design is an incarnation of the old DMR swoosh.

The bespoke font of the new logo was designed with construction and sustainability in mind. The angles and shapes in the D and M represent the construction industry while the leaf shape of the kicking R symbolises the environment. It’s an emblem that we hope links us to both the built environment and the natural one.

The Colours

Accompanying the logo is a new range of colours.

We’ve retired the vibrant yellow and blues of the old brand in favour of subtler tones of blue, brown and green (inspired by nature, naturally).

We hope you like the changes. Hats off to our graphic designer, Liz Rowlands (founder & creative director of Loonar Studio). It doesn’t really need saying but we rate her very highly. Visit Loonarcreative.com or Instagram to see more of her work. Thanks Liz!

The Tagline

We’re also rolling out a new tagline. NVQs done your way highlights our commitment to flexible and hassle-free NVQ assessment. We receive a lot of feedback from learners, praising our assessors for putting them at ease and simplifying the assessment process from the very beginning. We hope our latest tagline captures that sentiment. From the moment the company was founded back in 2013, we’ve always tried to tailor our qualifications to the needs of each individual learner.

Actions > Logos

So, that’s the rebrand launch over with. We’d love some feedback; get in touch and let us know what you think.

Stylish logos and pithy taglines are ultimately just representations of what we think we are, or what we aspire to become. As a business, we’ve always judged ourselves on the actions we take and the services we provide, and we know our clients do as well. That won’t change. Still, it’s nice having a cool logo with some meaning behind it!
